About the Role

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time Math and Science Educator to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Math and Science Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their skills and confidence in these subjects.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Math and Science to high school students in a one-on-one setting
  • Provide homework support and guidance to students
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, advanced functions, Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus, and Vectors, Physics, Chemistry, and biology
