Institutional Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Institutional Sales professional to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Asset Management Sales and Service group, you will be responsible for driving sales activities and results to grow the business of institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve desired business results
- Monitor sales results and provide coaching to achieve required business growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand specific needs and provide advice on regulatory issues and overall investment design
- Develop solutions and make recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Manage day-to-day operational tasks to ensure necessary compliance activities are being completed according to established policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain a business plan, including sales strategies, to achieve sales objectives and acquire new institutional clients
- Participate in industry and prospect events to grow presence in the marketplace
- Organize and arrange regular conference calls and presentations to promote new strategies
- Provide input to product development and marketing to grow the overall business
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced understanding of institutional sales and the market
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge
- Verbal and written communication skills - in-depth/expert
- Analytical and problem-solving skills - in-depth/expert
- Influence skills - in-depth/expert
- Collaboration and team skills, with a focus on cross-group collaboration - in-depth/expert
- Able to manage ambiguity
