Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of target markets and sectors.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to develop and execute sales strategies, focusing on key deals and prospect profiles.
  • Support the RFP and sales teams in gathering accurate and timely information, ensuring high-quality proposals that meet client needs.
  • Prepare and present sales materials, including fee models, proposals, and presentation booklets.
  • Develop and maintain sales and prospect databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Represent Northern Trust at conferences and events, working closely with the sales team to build relationships and drive business growth.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of sales presentations, due diligence visits, and other sales-related activities.
  • Produce regular sales reports and insights, analyzing prospect data to inform sales strategies and identify areas for growth.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of financial products and services, typically gained through related work experience or formal education.
  • Ability to utilize personal computers to develop sales tools and materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in sales or a related field.
