Enbridge is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist I to join our team. As a key member of our Ethics and Compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our business practices and maintaining a culture of compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigations: Conduct thorough and timely investigations into ethics and compliance matters, including reviewing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to support the effective implementation of our Ethics and Compliance program.
- Training and Communication: Design and deliver training programs to ensure that employees understand their compliance obligations and can identify and report ethics and compliance issues.
- Advisory Services: Provide guidance and advice to employees on ethics and compliance matters, including contract reviews and conflict of interest inquiries.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of our Ethics and Compliance program.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, law, or ethics.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in a compliance or ethics role, with a strong understanding of ethics and compliance program requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to employees at all levels.
Working Conditions:
- Office Work: This role will be based in an office environment, with occasional travel required.
