We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snow School Operations Manager to join our team at Lake Louise Ski Resort & Summer Gondola. As an Assistant Director of Snow School, you will play a key role in the efficient day-to-day operation of the Snow School department and lead your team in providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Assist and lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Snow School's products, programs, and procedures to ensure the highest level of customer service and productivity.
- Training and Development: Plan and conduct effective department training that fosters a positive attitude toward departmental and company goals and objectives.
- Financial Management: Monitor financial performance to ensure the department is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all reporting supervisors & employees adhere to company policies and procedures, and prioritize safety in all aspects of the job.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to align the goals of the snow school department with other areas of the company, and communicate effectively with management through formal and informal channels.
- Leadership Experience: 5 or more years of previous Snow School Management experience with proven leadership abilities in a medium to large snow school operation.
- Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage a team of supervisors and instructors.
- Certifications and Qualifications: Level 4 CSIA or CASI Certification or relevant leadership experience.
- Technical Skills: Computer literacy, proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Paradocs Mtn OS system or equivalent Snow School scheduling & POS software.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. The work schedule is 5 days on/2 days off, and the dress code is business casual.
