EllisDon is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, and associated pumps and valves.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Check and maintain air handling units, including noise, vibration, leaks, and performance.
  • Coordinate maintenance planning and schedule emergency work on HVAC equipment.
  • Order necessary parts and materials to complete tasks.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and rectify issues within your skillset and experience.
  • Assist other team members with maintenance and project requests as required.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance
  • Registered member in good standing with Skilled Trades BC
  • 313A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic (commercial)
  • Valid ODP Certification
  • G1 Gas Technician license
  • Strong familiarity and comfort with central chiller plants and controls
  • Familiarity with commercial restaurant refrigeration systems is preferred
