Job Summary:

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled Insulator Journeyperson to join our team. As an Insulator Journeyperson, you will be responsible for installing, fitting, and attaching insulation, finishing, and weatherproofing materials to a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and cut insulating material to required dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Install soundproofing systems
  • Recognize insulation and air barrier systems, materials, and their application

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Insulator certification or proof of Journeyperson level hours
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Insulator, preferably in a heavy industrial or construction setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used as a scaffolder
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders

Preferred Requirements:

  • Aerial Work Platform
  • First Aid
  • WHMIS
