Job Summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to support our team in Alberta. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the thermal protection of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements.
  • Measure and cut insulating material to required dimensions using hand and power tools.
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
  • Fabricate metal sheets and apply insulating materials to finish surfaces.

Requirements

  • Journeyperson or apprentice Certificate or proof of hours.
  • Valid up-to-date safety ticket for CSTS - 20.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to perform intricate and precise actions.
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
  • Ability to do careful and exacting work.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
