We are seeking a qualified instructor to teach International & Indigenous Languages in our Elementary Program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in American Sign Language, Deaf culture, and the needs of Deaf individuals in Hearing/Deaf cultural settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach International & Indigenous Languages to students in our Elementary Program
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate language, culture, and history
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of and fluency in American Sign Language
  • Understanding of Deaf culture and the needs of Deaf individuals
  • Ability to teach online, in a classroom, or a combination of both
  • Previous experience working with children and/or youth is an asset
