Our Early Talent ProgramWe are seeking high-achieving, analytical, creative, entrepreneurial, and passionate students to join our Early Talent program. This program offers students the opportunity to learn and develop the skills they need to pursue long, successful careers in the energy industry.
Internship OpportunitiesOur engineering internship opportunities have been specifically designed to provide students with the opportunity to apply their academic studies and gain valuable experience through meaningful and challenging work. Intern opportunities are available in a variety of our engineering and operations groups, including:
- Capital Maintenance Program
As an intern, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the maintenance of the capital 10-year database, including reviewing plan submissions and assisting in project reviews and risk assessments.
- Supporting the building of power presentations and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
- Supporting the risk ranking process across for maintenance capital projects.
- Performing variance analysis on actual vs budget/plan spends.
- Developing an understanding of processes and overall function of assigned business group.
- Attending internal and stakeholder meetings, where applicable.
- Assisting in various ad hoc requests as required.
To be considered for this internship, you must:
- Have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies.
- Be able to commit to a 12-month work term.
- Pursue an undergraduate Engineering degree.
- Have previous work terms considered an asset.
- Be eligible to apply as a formal or non-formal co-op student.
- Be able and willing to relocate to Calgary for the duration of the work term.
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent computer and communication skills.
