Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations at our Chambly facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical concepts, as well as experience in personnel management in a manufacturing organization.

The Maintenance Director will be responsible for planning and scheduling activities for corrective and preventive maintenance work orders, as well as managing a team of maintenance technicians. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, and have a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance operations at the Chambly facility
  • Plan and schedule activities for corrective and preventive maintenance work orders
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve uptime and reduce downtime
Requirements
  • College diploma in a related field (DEC in industrial mechanics or Industrial Electrical Technician diploma)
  • 7 years of experience in personnel management in a manufacturing organization
  • Strong familiarity with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and mechanics
  • Electrical experience in PLC's and plant automation
  • Team Management; Ability to mentor and train others in both mechanical and electrical aspects
