About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Techo-Bloc. As a key member of our Chambly facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the plant's inventory, machinery, and repairs, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance team, allocate tasks, and ensure timely completion
  • Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance work orders to improve uptime
  • Receive and respond to facility work orders, determining root cause and best course of action
  • Lead complex industrial troubleshooting and perform inspections and preventative maintenance on production machinery
  • Forecast material requirements and track inventory, repairs, and facility equipment
  • Develop and train the maintenance team on equipment, safety, and processes
  • Support maintenance technicians and intervene in complex problems
Requirements
  • College diploma in a related field (DEC in industrial mechanics or Industrial Electrical Technician diploma)
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in personnel management in a manufacturing organization
  • Strong familiarity with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and mechanics
  • Electrical experience in PLC's and plant automation
  • Team Management and ability to mentor and train others

  • Availability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Technical-minded with expertise in making judgment calls and applying solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and time-management focused
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, ERP systems, and strong Excel acumen
  • Strong success track record of planning, organizing, and implementing programs
