Job Title: Creative Visual Designer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Creative Visual Designer to join our team at CB Canada. This role involves developing high-quality visual content, including graphic design, illustrations, and photography.

About the Role:
  • This position is responsible for creating engaging visual materials that support our marketing campaigns, branding efforts, and business objectives.
  • The successful candidate will have experience working in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts and designs for various marketing channels, including print, digital, and social media.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and account managers to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.
  • Present design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear explanations and rationale behind design decisions.
  • Maintain a high level of quality control, adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an agency or marketing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Demonstrated expertise in visual storytelling, color theory, typography, and composition.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, including logos, color schemes, and typography systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality control.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms, website design, and UI/UX principles.
  • Familiarity with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.
  • Knowledge of photography and image editing techniques.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (hybrid work arrangement).
