Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain metalworking machines to produce high-quality metal products
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications
- Document work completed and investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs
- Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
- Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
