Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team at DCS Fitness & Martial Arts LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and instructing groups and individuals in various martial arts and fitness activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Develop and deliver engaging and effective training sessions for students of all ages and skill levels.
    • Provide personalized instruction and feedback to students to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals.
  • Program Development
    • Design and implement new programs and activities to meet the needs of our students and members.
    • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to students, members, and staff.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Safety and Risk Management
    • Ensure that all training sessions and activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards associated with training and activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Martial arts instructor certification.
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in teaching and instructing martial arts and fitness activities.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Security and Safety
    • Basic security clearance.
    • Criminal record check.
    • Child Abuse Registry check.
    • Driver's validity license check.
    • Drug test.
