Job Title: Delivery Driver

City Furniture & Appliances is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport goods and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a vehicle: Safely drive a company vehicle to pick up and deliver goods and products to customers.
  • Load and unload goods: Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring that they are properly secured and handled with care.
  • Provide customer service: Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, friendly, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Maintain records: Keep accurate records of deliveries, including items received and delivered.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation experience: Have local transportation experience.
  • Physical demands: Be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal suitability: Possess excellent client focus, organization skills, reliability, and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment:

As a Delivery Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that deliveries are made on time and to the highest standard.
