Job Title: Family Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Dr. Odetola Professional Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and developing treatment plans. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and gather patient medical history
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address patient health concerns
  • Prescribe and administer medications as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients on healthy habits and disease prevention
  • Participate in health care policy and planning
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance on patient care
  • Be the patient advocate and provide emotional support
  • Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
  • Provide acute care management
  • Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
Requirements:
  • Medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in Canada
  • Experience in family medicine or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
