Job Title: Stringed Instrument Repairer

Wilder & Davis étude is seeking a skilled Stringed Instrument Repairer to join our team. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of repair and maintenance for our stringed instruments.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with stringed instruments, including violins, violas, and cellos.
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools.
  • Test and adjust repaired instruments for proper functioning.
  • Maintain inventory of stored materials and supplies.
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP education.
  • 2-3 years of experience in stringed instrument repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

Our repair team works in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. As a Stringed Instrument Repairer, you will be working in a well-equipped workshop, with access to a wide range of tools and equipment.
