Job Title: Stringed Instrument Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Stringed Instrument Technician to join our team at Wilder & Davis étude. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing stringed instruments, including violas, violins, and cellos.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect instruments to determine repair requirements
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components
  • Test and adjust repaired instruments for proper functioning
  • Maintain inventory of stored materials
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Attention to detail

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced repair environment
  • Ability to lift and move instruments
