Seeking a qualified and experienced Reliable Transportation Specialist to join our team at School District #91 (Nechako Lakes).

About the Role

We are committed to providing a safe and efficient transportation system for our students. As a Reliable Transportation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bus routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive regular and scheduled bus routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of students
  • Liaise with students, parents, peers, and staff members to address any concerns or issues related to transportation
  • Perform routine maintenance on buses to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Participate in curricular and extra-curricular trips as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate) or equivalent
  • BC driver's license - Class 2 Full Privileged with air endorsement and an exemplary driving record/current driver's abstract
  • Valid First Aid certificate and CPR training
  • 6 months of demonstrated successful experience driving vehicles requiring BC Class 2 or higher license in all seasons
  • WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
Estimated Salary: $52,500 - $63,000 per year

This estimate is based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to our employees.
