As an anesthesiologist at EKRH, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing patient experiences and outcomes. You'll work in our efficient ambulatory care unit, guiding pre-operative assessments and ensuring each patient receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs. Our thriving pre-screening clinic offers you the chance to engage deeply with patients, addressing their concerns and optimizing their surgical journey from the very beginning.
As part of our affiliation with UBC's Faculty of Medicine, you'll integrate mentoring and hands-on learning into your routine, honing your capacity to impart knowledge. Through regular CME sessions and abundant bedside teaching opportunities with residents and medical students at EKRH year-round, you'll further develop your skills. This blend of patient care and clinical education creates a professional experience that is both rewarding and impactful.

Qualifications:- Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
- You'll hold, or be eligible for, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- To practice medicine here, you'll have coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
Hours of work: We want you to love life in and outside work, and we'll do our best to promote your work-life balance.
On call requirements: Expect a 1:5 on-call rotation, with plenty of time to relax and reset in between.
Compensation:Estimated Gross Income
As an anesthesiologist in Cranbrook, you can expect total compensation of around $450,000, with up to 10% contract incentive, and MOCAP Level 1.
