We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Operations Manager, Bio Products at Wood. This position is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our regional office, which employs approximately 15 staff members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing key client relationships, business development, and proposals. Additionally, they will be responsible for driving growth in new market sectors within the region.

  • **Education:** Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with professional designation preferred.
  • **Experience:** More than 10 years' experience working on delivery of engineering projects.
  • **Management Experience:** 5-10 years of proven management experience, with increasing responsibility, in an EPC/EPCM company.
  • **Operations Management:** Experience in an operations management role and in managing projects and studies will be strongly considered in the selection process.
  • **Industry Experience:** Experience in the pulp & paper or related industries will be strongly considered in the selection process.
  • **Client Interaction:** Ability to interact and engage with clients for the purposes of growing the business and representing the company at a senior management level.
  • **Leadership:** Ability to coach and mentor staff and support employee development.
  • **Communication Skills:** Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communications skills are required.
