Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using various programming languages and technologies
  • Test and debug software applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements
  • 1-7 months of experience in software development
  • International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Development and operations (DevOps), Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Internet of things (IoT), Jira, JavaOS, HTML, JSP, Applet, Word processing software, J#, Object-Oriented programming languages, Basic, SQL,.NET, ASP.NET, MS Office, MS Windows, Oracle, and WordPress
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment
