Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Crave Appetite. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all food and service meet our high expectations.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and timely.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are adequately trained and prepared for their roles.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
