Job Opportunity: Heavy Duty Mechanic Specialist

NCSG Hauling and Rigging is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our maintenance team in Bonnyville, AB.

About the Role:

This position involves performing daily maintenance of property, equipment (trucks/trailers), and vehicles throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy trucks, picker trucks, light duty fleet, and various oilfield-related trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance activities to ensure all equipment and vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Inspect and evaluate operating conditions of equipment and vehicles.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working with heavy trucks, picker trucks, light duty fleet, and various oilfield-related trailers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision while being safety & team-oriented.
  • Licensed Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate.
  • CVIP Tech License.
  • Valid Class 5 License with clean commercial drivers abstract; Class 1 license is an asset.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
