Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Time Courier Driver to join our team at the Comox Package Centre. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to schedules and operational requirements.
  • Use road maps and other trip planning aids to navigate routes and optimize delivery times.
  • Solve dispatch problems on route and make decisions to ensure timely delivery of packages.
  • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding delivery environment, occasionally lifting up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow set and standard procedures.
  • Valid BC Driver's License (Class 5 or Canadian Equivalent) and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
