We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Nanoose Bay Cafe. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, common areas, and facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handle heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
