We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Mr Fix Computers Ltd. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and providing top-notch support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Network Security: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records.
- Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software.
- Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, and perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
- Technical Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of information technology, software development, MS Office, MS Windows, and WordPerfect.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
