Job Title: Truck Drivers Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at Alligator Freight Services.

Job Summary:

The Truck Drivers Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve driver performance and safety.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report on driver performance, including hours of service and vehicle maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent oral communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
