About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Application Security Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our AWS Security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct application security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation
  • Design and implement secure architecture for cloud-based applications
  • Develop and maintain threat models to identify potential security risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and standards
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure our cloud-based services remain secure

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
  • Experience with AWS products and services is a plus
