Societe Generale de Surveillance SA is seeking a skilled Credit Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Credit Portfolio Management Group, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of large US corporates and subsidiaries of non-US groups in diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive credit analyses, reviewing legal documentation, and ongoing portfolio monitoring under the supervision of a Director - Senior Credit Analyst.
- Develop high-quality credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counterparties to assess their credit quality, recommending appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions.
- Prepare financial projections and determine debt repayment capability, ensuring compliance with SGUS Credit Policies.
- Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings.
- Monitor compliance with covenants.
- Review all relevant legal documentation and propose changes as necessary to comply with SGUS policies.
- Liaise with other CPM teams in the US, Europe, and Asia, business lines, Bankers, legal & compliance, operations, and Risk department.
- Strong financial analytical skills.
- Ability to assess credit terms and conditions, including financial covenants, security, and collateral.
- Strong understanding of commercial and investment banking products.
- Strong writing skills, particularly assessing and summarizing financial transactions.
- Strong understanding of the accounting, legal, and regulatory issues governing relevant sectors.
- Ability to investigate/research/synthesize data and make appropriate conclusions.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate counterparty risk and financial condition utilizing quantitative and qualitative data.
- 8-10 years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
