We are seeking a Health Care Aide to provide resident-focused care in a home-like environment at South Valley Residence. As a Health Care Aide, you will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient care under the direction of the supervisor, promoting resident choice and acknowledging their strengths, limitations, and need for safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized support to residents, respecting their individuality and dignity.
- Participate in all aspects of personal resident care, ensuring physical, psychological, and social needs are met.
- Establish communication and working relationships with residents, families, and coworkers to meet resident needs.
- Assist with serving meals, feeding, and providing nourishment supplements.
- Respond to resident needs regarding call bells, telephone ringing, and assisting employees in need of help.
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal hygiene activities.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement.
- Create a facility environment that protects confidentiality of residents, staff, and community activities.
