About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Avelino Bondad. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Household Management: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of our residential property, ensure that all areas are tidy and well-maintained, manage household supplies and inventory.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with household members and staff, work collaboratively as part of a team, provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, urban area, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, staff accommodation available.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
