Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Chad Johnston. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Organization and Time Management: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, work collaboratively as part of a team, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses paid by employer, public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability.
