Senior Network Security Architect

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to join our IT team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal IT, Managed Network Provider, and MSSP to promote secure practices and improve network and infrastructure resiliency.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance on core technology security needs corporate-wide
- Manage patch management and vulnerability remediation, firmware upgrades, and investigation and defense against network and security incidents
- Operate platforms such as Fortinet, Dell, Microsoft Azure and 365, AWS, and associated supporting services
- Design and configure SASE/ZTNA/SSE framework, network, SD-WAN, and infrastructure security components in cloud and on-prem environments
- Maintain network/VPN uptime, security, and redundancy strategies
- Develop and promote operational interaction within the Network & Security Managed Providers and internal IT teams
- Assess existing WAN network and make cost-saving recommendations and proposals
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Specialty certifications in AWS and Azure networking and/or Security is considered an asset
- 7+ years of experience working in the IT industry specializing in network and security
- Strong working knowledge of industry leading technology providers within the following areas: Fortinet, Network Access Control, Network Segregation and Microsegmentation, Content Delivery Network, Zero Trust Network Architecture, and Security Services Edge
