Job Opportunity

CS GROUP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and validation, with experience in testing tools such as LDRA or VectorCAST. They will be responsible for testing embedded safety-critical software applications on Aerospace or Defense Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retro-engineer design from code
  • Carry out software testing (unit or integration) on complex software functions
  • Develop and run relevant tests on test platforms to verify correctness of design
  • Debug issues raised during software development cycle in application software
  • Ensure traceability between software design and tests artefacts
  • Conduct independent peer reviews on design, code, or tests produced by other team members
  • Draft final technical documents
  • Provide clear status and workload to direct supervisors
  • Participate in continuous improvement of team performance (quality, efficiency, on-time delivery)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in language ADA or C or C++
  • Associate Degree in Engineer, Computer science, or related
  • Interest in troubleshooting complex software problems
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, team-player
  • Curiosity, autonomy, pro-activity, and ability to find solutions and compromises
  • Minimum 5 years experience in testing tools such as LDRA or VectorCAST or equivalent
  • Experience in GreenHills Tools is a plus
  • S. degree in Electrical or Computing Science or equivalent
  • Basics in DO-178B or C or equivalent standard
  • Basics in communication protocols CAN, ARINC, RS-422, Ethernet
  • Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN
