Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at G Square Builders Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods from trucks
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Physically demanding role requiring flexibility, judgment, and reliability
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
