Job Title: Local Truck Driver

Brisk Movers Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Local Truck Driver to join our team. As a Local Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials within a designated area, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Defensive Driving Course
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
Work Environment:

As a Local Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, driving to various locations within a designated area. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to handle physical demands of the job.
