About the Role:

A skilled Woodworking Specialist is required to join our team at Ashour Way Construction Inc. to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines. A strong team player with excellent organizational skills is required to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Reliability, team player, and organized

Language: English

Work Term: Permanent

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
