Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Associate (Exposure). The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational hygiene principles and exposure measurement methodologies, with the ability to coordinate all aspects of a research project.

As a Research Associate (Exposure), you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis activities based on project, program, and operational plans. This includes developing tools, templates, and processes required to execute research and analysis activities, identifying key sources of information and data, and defining research scope, expected deliverables, and workplan in coordination with the Manager and Scientists.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Occupational or Environmental Hygiene or a related occupational health and safety field, with 2-3 years of experience or equivalent. They will possess strong research and analytical capabilities, excellent written communication skills, and proficiency in R software for statistical analysis.

We offer a competitive salary band of $85,000 per year, plus benefits including fully paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, a health care spending account, and a premium defined benefit pension plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide study, project, program, and operational support as required
  • Develops the tools, templates, and processes required to execute the research and analysis activities, including for grant-funded studies
  • Identifies key sources of information and data
  • Defines the research scope, expected deliverables, and workplan in coordination with the Manager and Scientists
  • Conducts advanced statistical analyses using R, critically interprets results, and presents findings in reports and knowledge transfer products for a variety of audiences
Requirements
  • A graduate degree in Occupational or Environmental Hygiene or a related occupational health and safety field
  • 2-3 years of experience or equivalent
