We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Water Resources Project Engineer to join our team at MPE Engineering Ltd. in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our established water resources team under the guidance of intermediate and senior engineers to complete design and project management duties. The position requires strong technical skills, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities. The work will involve engineering on all project phases for irrigation infrastructure, dam infrastructure, water control structures, pump stations, canals, pipelines, earthworks, and hydrology projects.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University, be registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan (APEGS), and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with design software, particularly HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PCSWMM, and WaterCAD, is considered an asset. A Class 5 Driver's License and personal vehicle for out-of-town work as required is also necessary.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
