Job Title: Prep Cook

At PLANTA Restaurants, we're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food to order, adhering to recipe standards and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment.
  • Work closely with the Culinary Leader to ensure seamless kitchen operations and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu offerings, ingredients, and cooking techniques to provide innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of plant-based, vegan, or vegetarian cuisine is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude and high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
