Job Summary

C Town Exterior Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. As an Exterior Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Work Environment

As an Exterior Finishing Specialist, you will work outdoors in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will be exposed to dusty, hot, and noisy conditions, and will be required to work at heights.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train on the job
  • Physical abilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure
  • Personal qualities: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and teamwork
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work a 35-40 hour week, with overtime as required. The work environment will be fast-paced, with tight deadlines and a large workload.
