About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Eagle Trailer & Truck Repair. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts using various welding techniques.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment to cut metal.
  • Determine weldability of materials to ensure successful welding operations.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal parts.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience in welding and metal fabrication is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week in a permanent position.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
