About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for allocating resources, establishing objectives, and representing the organization in official functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and administration, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Administrative Leadership: Manage and direct the administrative staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Negotiation and Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, demonstrating strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Team Development: Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff, creating a high-performing team.
  • Co-ordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Work Environment

This role requires a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Location: This position is based at the Government of Canada - Central office.
