Job Title: Landscaping Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Labourer to join our team at GLE Green Landscape Experts Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks related to landscape maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed to maintain a lush and vibrant landscape.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our landscapes.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed of your activities.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and well-being.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Remove trees as needed to maintain a safe and healthy landscape.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license is required for on-the-road jobs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Dependability, efficiency, and reliability are essential for this role.
