Job Title: Labourer, Landscape

GLE Green Landscape Experts Ltd. is seeking a skilled Labourer, Landscape to join our team. As a Labourer, Landscape, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks related to landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and secure.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to maintain a clean and tidy work site.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed of work progress.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive adequate care.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in the field of landscape maintenance is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Working Conditions:

This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to travel to various work sites. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
