Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at C and C West Contracting Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
- Work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions
- Physically demanding, requiring frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Work a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3-5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
