Job Title: Market Research and Development Specialist

Entercan Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Market Research and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing policies, supervising professional and support staff, and administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop policies and procedures to promote business development and investment.
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 people to ensure the successful implementation of business development initiatives.
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including preparing reports, research papers, and educational texts.
  • Plan development projects, including conducting comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
  • Recruit and hire staff to support business development initiatives.
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities.
  • Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment.
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Design market research questionnaires to gather data on business development initiatives.
  • Develop a portfolio of marketing materials to promote business development initiatives.
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to inform business development initiatives.
  • Develop feasibility studies to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to support business development initiatives.
  • Maintain a database of potential franchisees, real estate locations, and online buy/sell Internet sites.
  • Prepare funding applications to support business development initiatives.
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting new businesses.
  • Develop and implement business plans to support business development initiatives.
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to promote business development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in business development and market research.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
