Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Director to join our team at Ontario INC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading daily store operations and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and control daily store operations to meet sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Evaluate daily store operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Plan and organize store layouts, visual merchandising, and promotional displays to drive sales and engagement.
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and provide opportunities for growth and development.
  • Analyze market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and competitor activity.
  • Determine product assortment and pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Implement price and credit policies to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Select and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, including social media promotions and in-store events.
  • Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to optimize financial performance.
  • Determine staffing requirements based on sales forecasts and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply chain issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail operations, management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Familiarity with market research tools and data analysis software.
